“What the Cancer Clinic means to me.
It means less time away from home. It means less time, struggling with that round-a-bout to get to Port Clinic. It means less time being tired from travel, when your lethargic & struggle just to get up and go. It means alot. Yes – we don’t always show how tied & worn out we really are most of the time. It means more time to rest. It means more 1 on 1 time with our nurse. It means everything to me & other patients I’ve spoken to.
It means 1 less trip to Port, as we have to go for Dr visits, P.E.T. scans, MRI’s U/S’s, CT’s plus other specialist & Radiation. It means so much to have it here. Would be lovely if one day, all that could be here.
But not only have the Lilli Pilli Ladies given us this beautiful Clinic, But most of all they have given us TIME.”
